What else should you know about casting?
- Selection is usually by type. It is important that the candidate's photos are as good as possible. Most should be close-ups, and one full-body shot is enough – clean, preferably studio, without accessories, hats, glasses, etc.
- Senior types or those close to senior age are highly sought after. Such types are hardest to find, as beliefs often keep these people from stepping in front of the camera, while their peers in the profession are already widely known to audiences.
